One Busy Week

This week is a crazy one, Monday Kristy and I made some of those cake pops for Kodie to take to dance, school and for her party treats. I don't recomend them, they are a lot of work, and of coarse this was my first time making them so we were experimenting. They turned out good, and I think they tase good everyone liked them.(but I have tried hard not to0) Then we carved our pumpkins for family home evening, got the girls in the shower, and then in to bed.
Tuesday was Kodie's 8th birthday so I tried to clean the house, wrap gifts, go to dancing, then come home make dinner, open Presents, and then off to bed.
Wednesday after getting the kids to school, I ran to town to get Kodie's birthday cake for her party, then I hurried home. The kids came home with the girls off the bus, and then we partied hard. We played the pig snort game, the one where you have to open a package with mittens and forks, and then we opened presents, ate cake and ice cream, and one last game while the parents came to get the kids. Then dinner, clean up, home work, and back to bed.

Tomarrow(Thursday)The kids get to kind of dress up today because they don't have school on Halloween. I have visiting Teachers coming at 11, then I have to make a dessert for the ward party at 6, and then it is one of the state playoff football games for Shelley at 7. and once again the normal every day things, like dinner, and bed.

Friday it's Halloween, I always look forward to this holiday it is my favorite. But I have to make desserts for Kodie's Baptism, and the kids will be home ALL DAY!!! And hopefully some of the Family will start to show up, and maybe go trick or treating with us. Kodie was a Vampire, Paige a Funny Clown Witch, and Parker a Lion.
Saturday I had to wake up early, get Kodie ready, and bake a bunch of potatoes for the luncheon after Kodie's baptism at 1:00. It was great to spend that special day with lots of family and friends. I was excited and I know Kodie was too. I was looking forward to just spending the rest of the day at home being lazy. :) But Jared wasn't feeling well at all he actually ended up sleeping in the car during the luncheon and later was very sick with the flu. Now I'm just hoping the rest of us don't get it. Here are a few photos from the baptism.

I hope you get through this week. I had fun making the pops with you. If we ever do it again we will have to change a few things.
