Andersen Reunion

For the Andersen Reunion we went up Black Smith Fork Canyon found a big spot
that I guess use to be a boy scout camp. We hauled trailers, horses and four wheelers and had a great time together with my moms siblings and my Grandma Andersen.

Parker & Jared

Dan and Jared helped give Parker a ride on one of my Uncle Gary's horses.

Dan & Saje (Dan likes to be a big tease)

Kodie riding along side of my Uncle Gary learning how to ride a horse all by her self.

My girls are now wondering why we can't have a horse. They are so much fun!!!
(They forget about the work and $$$)

About 15 or 20 minutes after Kodie's last ride her eyes started to swell up and itch she was having an allergic reaction to the horses and we had to intervene with a dose of Benadryl. Which knocked her out for a couple of hours. (One more reason we can't have one dang it:)

And of coarse Paige had to have a turn too

Uncle Paul and Aunt Debbie made an awesome meal with dutch ovens for all of us to enjoy.

We spent a lot of time sitting around chit chatting, getting to know each other better and finding out what everyone had been up to in the last year.

Mark challenged Jared to a mad game of horse shoes and
then he lost even when he was making up his own rules through out the game.

This is our new trailer (Our home away from home).

With all the rain we have had the grass was really long which didn't make Parker very happy because every time he fell down he had grass in his face.

But Nicki & Sky were there to help out a couple of times

Girls Softball

June has been a crazy month we were suppose to have 2 softball games a week for the girls but unfortunately the weather hasn't cooperated. We had to make up the majority of them because of the rain. This last week we had 4 games in 3 days which is a lot for the little ones. We have to be at the ball park at 8:30 am to practice and warm up for the games.
Parker's breakfast on the run

Practice and Warm ups

Yes even Parker was in on the action

Chasing balls

Swinging the bat

And cheering for the girls

Don was an awesome coach and I am glad I was able to help.
I just get to excited to sit on the bleachers and keep my mouth shut.

Paige up to bat

Kodie too
They both did a great job when up to bat or chasing the ball.
They are learning the tricks of the game and enjoying every minute of it.
There were a couple of instances where I had to explain my self after the play, like when Kodie caught a fly ball and got an out. I then yelled at her to touch second base over and over until she casually did it. Then after being all wound up I had to explain she needed to touch the base because the runner on second base ran and can't do that if the ball is caught. She needed to go back to her base. I don't think she will ever forget that play and as soon as the game was over she had to call her dad and tell him all about her double play. Of coarse Paige had to tell him she made a "Home Run" which to her is making it all the way around the bases and actually scoring a point for the team even though it took more than just her batting to do so.
She loves to play catcher. I think it is because she actually gets to touch the ball instead of wait for the ball to maybe come her way in the field.

Paige is way out in center field.

Kodie is in the pitching position. She didn't actually pitch though the coaches pitch to them.
Over all we had a great season season we won about half of the games and the girls had a blast. Now it is my turn. We'll let you know how that goes. :)

Dan's day at the Temple

Daniel took out his endowments at the Logan temple on Saturday June 20th
I am so excited for him and this opportunity and for the choice he made to go on a mission.

Giving them a squeeze

My kid the commedian

All of my siblings

And Last but not Least my Boys.... Jared and Parker.
I thought this photo was so cute of Parker standing at his daddy's feet with a huge smile on his face. It would have been better if I could have gotten Jared to smile too.

Girls Weekend Get Away

A girls get away to Island ParkDanielle, Missy, Me and Kristy
We had a great weekend together with peace and
quiet no kids, and on our own schedule for once. We had fun playing games, going for walks, watching movies, and most of the time just talking, talking, talking.

We stayed at Kristy's grandparents cabin. It was nice, cozy and quiet.

Lets Celebrate!!!!

On June 6th 2009 Josh and Chyrelle finally got hitched
I am so happy for the two of them they make a great couple and are so much fun.
The morning of the wedding was total Chaos since the wedding was suppose to be out side but because of the rain, and lack of power at Desi's we ended up at the church house. The wedding party ended up at my house getting ready, taking showers doing hair and paiting the remainder of the flowers since we now needed all of them for decor at the church. We all worked together and had things set up just in time. It was beautiful and I hope Josh and Chyrelle were happy with the results. Amber and I painting flowers...
Here is her wedding cake that Desi made....

Kelsey, Telicia, Chyrelle, Shelby, and Erica

And their Better sides!!! LOL
Paige was her flower girl....
