Photo Shoot with Savannah for the Baptism

Korryn and I took the girls over by the river by my house and got a few really cute photos of them together that we are going to use for the program and stuff. check them out.

Can you believe just 8 years ago they looked like this???

There are probably about 100 photos we took these are just a couple of my favorites!

Kelli is going to be making a slide show dvd with all of the pictures we took and more we scaned in from when they were younger I'm excited to see it.

One Busy Week

This week is a crazy one, Monday Kristy and I made some of those cake pops for Kodie to take to dance, school and for her party treats. I don't recomend them, they are a lot of work, and of coarse this was my first time making them so we were experimenting. They turned out good, and I think they tase good everyone liked them.(but I have tried hard not to0) Then we carved our pumpkins for family home evening, got the girls in the shower, and then in to bed.
Tuesday was Kodie's 8th birthday so I tried to clean the house, wrap gifts, go to dancing, then come home make dinner, open Presents, and then off to bed.
Wednesday after getting the kids to school, I ran to town to get Kodie's birthday cake for her party, then I hurried home. The kids came home with the girls off the bus, and then we partied hard. We played the pig snort game, the one where you have to open a package with mittens and forks, and then we opened presents, ate cake and ice cream, and one last game while the parents came to get the kids. Then dinner, clean up, home work, and back to bed.

Tomarrow(Thursday)The kids get to kind of dress up today because they don't have school on Halloween. I have visiting Teachers coming at 11, then I have to make a dessert for the ward party at 6, and then it is one of the state playoff football games for Shelley at 7. and once again the normal every day things, like dinner, and bed.

Friday it's Halloween, I always look forward to this holiday it is my favorite. But I have to make desserts for Kodie's Baptism, and the kids will be home ALL DAY!!! And hopefully some of the Family will start to show up, and maybe go trick or treating with us. Kodie was a Vampire, Paige a Funny Clown Witch, and Parker a Lion.
Saturday I had to wake up early, get Kodie ready, and bake a bunch of potatoes for the luncheon after Kodie's baptism at 1:00. It was great to spend that special day with lots of family and friends. I was excited and I know Kodie was too. I was looking forward to just spending the rest of the day at home being lazy. :) But Jared wasn't feeling well at all he actually ended up sleeping in the car during the luncheon and later was very sick with the flu. Now I'm just hoping the rest of us don't get it. Here are a few photos from the baptism.

Baptism Announcement

Today I threw together Kodie's baptism announcement now I just have to get it printed!

Fun Photo Shoot

Kristy and I took our kids out for a photo shoot thinking it would be fun and maybe we could get some really cute photos of the kids. Kodie was very excited, she loves this kind of thing, she is so photogenic. Paige on the other hand was very defiant she did not want to cooperate so she spent the majority of the time in the car. ( I don't think the late night sleep over at Aunt Desi's house the night before helped any I think she was very tired.) Here are a few of the photos I took out by Kelli's house I think they look great and I'm excited to make her baptism announcements from them.

She has become a beautiful Girl and is usually very helpful I am glad she's mine and I wouldn't trade her for any other! :)

Here are a few other fun photos we captured that day:)

I took these photos to do a suprise project for Jared for Christmas I hope he likes it!

THAT'S ALL FOLKS!!!

Potato Harvest

We have been busy this fall bottling and canning anything from beans, beats, peaches, pears, carrots, potatoes, and salsa to make our food storage awesome, but to tell ya the truth, I'm VERY tired. Monday Kelli, CharReese, and I bottled the last of it (I hope). But On Tuesday we were all together again gleaning fields for potatoes. Take a look, we had a lot of fun and we got quite a few considering we were only there for about 2 hours. Grandma Dye

Parkers first hair cut

Parker is almost 6 months old and I have tried to put off cutting his hair as long as I can, but I think it is finally time. I'm kind of sad to see those cute little locks go, and I know it will make him look even older than he allready does but it is out of control. so here it goes!!!
